    • Preparation of economic feasibility studies of petroleum reservoir development plans for management approval is a challenging responsibility. This is achieved in this workshop by learning how to :-<\/li>\n

      1. Establish effective multi-disciplinary teams of senior staff to developing petroleum reserves, particularly in the nature of the volatile petroleum market.<\/li>\n
      2. Secure the decision analysis through carrying out sensitivity study since the upstream petroleum system is subject to considerable risk & uncertainty environment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      3. This multi-disciplinary team approach would promote the technical & finance efforts for securing managerial approval.<\/li>\n

      4. The workshop is designed primarily for those professionals whose responsibility during the carrier will include any of these essential aspects of the above sited components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Workshop Objectives<\/span><\/h1>\n

        1-\tTo develop an understanding of the HC field life cycle.
        \n2-\tTo promote an international reservoir engineering techniques and best practice relating to the development of HC field, reserve estimate, production forecast, etc\u2026\u2026..
        \n3-\tTo gain insight & knowledge of economic evaluation process to establish cash flow model of a development plan to evaluate its profitability.
        \n4-\tProvide knowledge of how to carry out sensitivity analysis of the generated cash flow model.
        \n5-\tIntegrate the generated cash flow model into the business FiscalRegim of the Corporate.<\/p>\n

        Methodology<\/span><\/h1>\n

        The workshop is focusing on in\u2013classes excel sheet application to promote the participants practical skills. Accordingly the time allocation is divided into :<\/p>\n

        • 50 % for lectures<\/li>\n
        • 50 % for practical sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Accordingly:-
          \n1-\tThe participants will be distributed into multi-disciplinary, roundtable teams.
          \n2-\tEvery participant is to bring with him his Lap-Top to effectively carry out the practical sessions. <\/p>\n

          Location<\/span><\/h1>\n

          First day will be held at the Holiday Inn Maadi Hotel, in Cairo. The participants will fly the next day to Hurghada. The course will be continued in Hurghada.<\/p>\n
